Sally did fantastic watching both babies. I made a Nanny Handbook for her, and part of it is a Daily Care Sheet. I'm including a copy of it here in case anyone is interested. This was an idea I got from Cris' sister, who has gotten lots of experience from working with several different Au Pairs for her kiddos. It turned out to be really great because it helped me still feel connected to their day by reading about what they did today. Juneau got a Happy Score of 0 out of 5 (no fussing at all!) Nova only got a 3, but that isn't bad considering she has earned herself the nickname "Sissy Fusser". For the most part Nova is an exceptionally happy baby, but sometimes she gets a little fussy attitude and doesn't want to snap out of it.
When we got home Cris gave Juneau her first lesson in fixing things when he fixed a piece of her exersaucer that wasn't working. Soon she will learn that Daddy really can fix anything.
Nova enjoyed a little taste of baby cereal and then passed out for the night.
Anyway, seeing them this evening was awesome. We all played really hard together and now we are wiped out. I guess i need to come to terms with the fact that pretty much nothing is going to get done during the week since our day consists of waking up at 0430, geting home from work at 1700/1800, and then playing for a couple of hours before everyone hits the bed exhausted.All in all, things went pretty well, and i think we may just make it through the year.

Morgan's daycare gives us a similar sheet each day and it really does make me feel more connected.

Glad that you had a good day back to "normal" routine. Prayers that everything will continue to go smoothly with the new transition.
