Thanks to the standing babysitting invitation from Aunt Wallie and Beth, the girls and I have been able to continue participating in Friday night festivities despite my crazy Friday afternoon schedule with the medical students. Once again, the girls spent the afternoon with Melody while I headed to teach.

After some drone flying time in the driveway, we ate pizza and headed for the fireworks. Technically, we did see the fireworks this week, even if most of it was from our vehicles as we were pulling into the parking lot.

I know they will be glad to get settled back home and prepare for the arrival of their little boy. It looks like after April 13th we will be biding our time for the last few weeks enjoying some combination of Grandma Saccenti and a couple of fun aunts coming to visit.
